Arqueonautas (AWW), an offshore registered shareholding company, searches for and consequently recovers historical shipwrecks worldwide to add to scientific knowledge, to maritime cultural heritage and to the benefit of its investors - backing the venture capital aspects of AWW's projects.
All artefacts (with the exception of coins, seals and parts of ship structure) sold through the AWW Web-shop are repetitive. Unique pieces and the best sample of repetitive artefacts (cargo), having been nominated by impartial experts as 'Maritime National Patrimony’ remain in the country where the wreck has been recovered for public display in museums or through exhibitions.
